Best Ever!

A friend emailed me this recipe and I decided to try it despite some scepticism about the ingredients, and I was blown away by the results! Way better than beef, onions and ketchup!

So here it is...
Sweet Sloppy Joes
1/2 lb ground beef
1 celery stalk, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
1 (16 oz) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1.) Brown the ground beef in a large skillet on medium heat. Drain off the grease. Add the celery and onions to the beef and continue to cook until onions are translucent and celery is softened; about 5minutes.
2.) Add the tomato sauce, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar, mixing all ingredients together. Stir in the kidney beans. Cover the skillet and turn the heat to a low simmer for about 30 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.
Yields 4-5 servings.
